He is a Gold Medalist from Gujarat University and has done Ceramic Engineering from U.S.A & is handling the entire group since 1975. Under his leadership the Company is Manufacturing & Exporting Ceramic Products to more than 45 Countries & few of them are Fortune 500 Companies.
Over & above he is also holding number of valuable positions in Ceramic’s and at Social front too.
- He is the President of Ahmedabad Pottery Manufacturing Association.
- He is Chairman of Indian Ceramic Society.(Gujarat Chapter)
- He has served as Secretary as well as President of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
- He is also an Honorary Member of Advisory Committee of Central Glass Ceramic Research Institute
- He also renders his services as Secretary of Kadi Industrial Association & is actively engaged in Gujarat Ceramic Industrial Board.
Rutuja R. Patel (MD )
She graduated as an Honors student with her MBA from L.I.U. (USA) in 1998. She did her specialization in Marketing and International Business. She worked for Corporate Realty Consultants in New York for 1 year, where her responsibility was to compile data for corporate presentations and also research for available properties as per clients needs.She joined Sonya Ceramics in August 1999. She is Managing Director of S S Industries manufacturing L.T. Insulators Floor , Wall & Roof tiles under the Brand name of Anaya and J.R.Exports exports sanitary wares globally. She also handles Sonya Foods which manufactures peanut butter & Blanched peanuts. She is currently active with all day to day activities at Sonya Group.
Abhishek R. Shah(DIRECTOR)

He did his Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] from H.L.College of Commerce and started his career by working for Patel Alloys Pvt. Ltd., he was head of the Inspection Department, who specialized in making Wind Mills.
After gaining one year of experience, he joined Sonya Ceramics and now being a Director of the Company, he takes charge of the whole factory from shop floor to dispatch under guidance of Mr.Rupesh C. Shah. He is actively involved in weekly production planning and directly communicates with clients of Sonya Ceramics.
Urmish Patel (General Manager –Kadi)
Urmish Patel, is an MBA in Marketing from Gujarat University. Before joining Sonya Ceramics he had worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank and Yes Bank as assistant manager-sales. He had an in-depth experience of marketing which he intends to use at Sonya Ceramics Kadi Unit.He is currently leading the L.T.Insulator Department of the group. He aims to create synergies between all the departments with the help of his professional knowledge and bring growth to the company.
Mrugesh Patel (Manager – S. S. Industries)
He did MBA in International Business Management from University of Sunderland. Before Joining Sonya Ceramics he was working with Ingersoll-Rand India Ltd as a design and development Engineer. To bring vividness in the knowledge and understand various aspects of production, he joined Sonya Ceramics in the year of 2004 as a Quality Control Engineer and left in 2009 to pursue his MBA.He rejoined Sonya Group in 2011 as Manager of S S Industries. With the core responsibility of production, he is involved in overall functions like HR, Marketing, Quality Control, Purchase and Sales at the company
